WESLEY ADVISORY BUYER INTERVIEW GUIDE Purpose: understand the buyer before presenting a solution. 1. What problem are you trying to solve? Why now? 2. What happens today, and what does that cost in time or effort? 3. Who owns this outcome? Who approves a purchase? 4. What funding and timing constraints apply? 5. What would educators need to do differently? 6. What onboarding or support would be necessary? 7. What evidence would justify continuing after a pilot? 8. What procurement, privacy, accessibility, and technical reviews apply? 9. Who else should help define success? 10. What is an appropriate next step? Record: evidence, unanswered questions, owner, next action, due date. Do not treat enthusiasm as a purchase commitment.
